About the event



Butchers are few and far between, and if you have livestock to feed your family you're going to need a butcher. Even if you can't get a butcher date, you can learn how to safely and efficiently butcher your own livestock. At this clinic you will learn:


  1. What caliber of weapon to use to quickly and humanely kill pigs

  2. How to get the pig from the place of dispatch to a place of processing

  3. How to process the pig and hang it

  4. The various cuts of pork

    Choose Basic, Choice or Prime. All tickets include hands-on clinic experience and lunch. Choice and Prime tickets supply you with knives and other tools to butcher your livestock after the clinic.
